Sumit Rai, Chief Executive Officer & Founder
Sumit founded Kulu Valley in 2002 with CSE Rob Long. Sumit is responsible
for company strategy and product offerings. Sumit often works
hands-on with clients and the development team on solutions.
Prior to founding Kulu Valley, Sumit held the roles of Chief
Software Engineer at TwentyFirstCentury Communications and
Chief Technology Officer
at the
Pukka Group.
Sumit is a guest lecturer at University College London and
regularly speaks at industry conferences such as Streaming
Media Europe & Video Forum.
Mo Ali, Head of Professional Services
With over six years experience in the Financial Services
industry, Mo brings both technical and business experience of managing large scale software deployments for worldwide corporations.
Mo joined Kulu Valley to lead the professional services arm of Kulu Valley. He brings his passion for technology and his success at delivering software and enhances relationships with clients.
Mo has a BSc in Computer Science from University College London.
Igor Vujosevic, Chief Technology Officer
As Kulu Valley's CTO Igor is responsible for both client facing deployments as well as managing our data centres operations. Igor has an extensive background of software development experience in the Financial Services industry.
Prior to joining Kulu Valley, Igor worked as a Systems Architect for a city based software company delivering solutions to Tier 1 banks.
Igor has a BSc in Computer Science from University College London.
Rob Long, Chief Software Engineer & Co-Founder
Our software development team is lead by Rob Long, co-founding Director of Kulu Valley. Rob has ten years of software development experience using a variety of techniques and paradigms, allowing him to develop creative and insightful solutions, while maintaining the standards required of enterprise-level software. Rob specialises in business modelling and software architecture; taking responsibility for distilling and communicating business requirements to the development team.
Rob has a BSc in Computer Science from University College London.
See Wah Cheng, Head of Research & Development
See Wah is responsible for researching, designing & developing various components of Kulu Valley's software platform and the company's technical development roadmap. His technical expertise lies in enterprise server-side software development. He is a strong advocate of Agile methods.
See Wah has a BA degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge.
Steve Hills, Head of Engineering
Steve Hills is responsible for all Engineering activities at the London Wall Studios. With over 20 years in broadcast engineering Steve is committed to ensuring that both our facilities and those we deploy and design for clients utilise the best of all video infrastructure technologies. Steve is responsible for designing and building studios to rigging temporary production facilities for conferences.
Previously Steve has worked for Channel 4, Hillside Studios and was an engineer for the 2002 Football World Cup. He has travelled the world with his camera.
