Kulu Valley streamed FOTE11 - Overview

Kulu Valley was the official technology partner of FOTE11, allowing people to follow the conference remotely in real time

23 November 2011 – FOTE11 took place on Friday 7th October 2011 at the University of London’s iconic art deco building, Senate House. The 4th annual Future of Technology in Education conference tried to shine a light on student expectations and the role technology plays in meeting them.

Although Kulu Valley didn’t attend the event, it didn’t stop them from watching the conference, or anybody else who couldn’t attend. Kulu Valley was the official technology partner of FOTE11, allowing people to follow the conference remotely in real time.

Over the day, 497 people connected remotely and watched a total of 360 hours of the conference from their computers, iPhones and iPads. Frank Steiner, Marketing Manager at the University of London Computer Centre, the organisers and hosts of the FOTE conference said, ‘Kulu Valley made our event accessible to audiences who were unable to attend on the day and more than doubled the FOTE11 audience through live streaming the event. This is a great way to extend the reach of our sought after and over-subscribed annual conference.’
