Kulu Valley Research Shows That Over 70% Think Kulus Provide the Answer to Important Business Communication Issues
Research shows that UK Businesses Need Communications to be more Visual, Impactful, Powerful and Engaging
20 June 2011 – Kulu Valley announces that research carried out recently, shows that the UK business community believes today’s digital communications do not provide sufficient impact and much worse, over half wonder whether their message is really understood. Over 70% of those surveyed believe that Kulus, an innovative combination of video, graphics, slides, web-links and audio, will play an important role in communicating more effectively in today’s workplace. Commenting on the survey, Sumit Rai, CEO and Founder of Kulu Valley, said “This survey shows that UK organisations have key issues with present communications. 8 out of 10 find it increasingly difficult to get people together at a specific time let alone in one place. With the frequency of communicating in our digital world growing, this is only going to get worse and our ability to engage the right people at the right time becomes ever more business critical.”

After a brief demonstration of how Kulus work, the research showed that Kulus are seen as:
• 84% – Professional, engaging and useful
• 78% – Create a good impression with recipients
• 74% – Delivers more of a wow factor than present communications tools
They are great for all types of communications but especially:
• 83% – Disseminating information easily and consistently to large groups
• 73% – Help when explaining complex information
• 81% – Able to communicate company-wide messages consistently and accurately
But most importantly, the critical measure for any communication is its effect on your audience, when
it’s sent as a Kulu:
• 72% – Audience more likely to understand / absorb information
• 64% – Audience more likely to respond/act on the information

The research was conducted for Kulu Valley by The Source Insight in May 2011. 200 interviews were carried out amongst those currently in full time employment across a representative range of vertical sectors. All respondents were drawn randomly from an online panel.
